About

2017 MBA Graduation PhotoGreetings! My name is Nathan Freeman. I recently began a great new opportunity as a Programmer/Analyst at Citibank, and I have previous experience tutoring college students, primarily in IT classes. I’m a 2017 graduate of the MBA program at Jacksonville University. Before that I earned my B.A.S. in IT Management from FSCJ in May 2015, where I maintained a perfect 4.0 grade-point average. I have also earned numerous technical certifications (nine and counting!).

At JU, I completed my MBA in August 2017, almost exactly one year after beginning the program. I excelled in my studies and participated actively in campus events, and I also worked as a Graduate Technology Assistant. As a grad tech, I provided IT support and education to students, faculty, and staff, and I designed, implemented, and documented a data warehouse to support faculty research projects.

Previous leadership experience includes serving as President and Secretary for the FSCJ chapter of the Association of Information Technology Professionals and helping with the S.T.A.R.S. organization. I was also a founding member and one of the original officers of JU’s MBA Association. I have volunteered at WordCamp Jax, one of various WordPress conferences held around the world; Data Busters, a summer camp where local at-risk youth learn IT fundamentals; and the IT Pro Camp, where I was one of the speakers in 2017, 2018, and 2019.

I’m a fifth-generation Floridian, which seems to be a rarity. Some of the things I do for fun include photography, writing, computer programming, and music composition. I like going to the beach and making an occasional getaway to the mountains of North Carolina.

This site was originally created for my individual project in Professor Sebena Masline’s ISM4480 course at FSCJ, but I’ve kept it up-to-date since then.

Speaking of photography, here are some of the photos I’ve taken recently:
